The next step for the next generation of electric bikes is about to begin.
The most popular bike on the planet is already making its way into the hands of American cyclists and the bike industry is in a state of frenzy.
As the electric bike industry evolves, so do the expectations and the competition.
There are several companies competing to develop the next-generation electric bike.
The biggest names in the industry are already at the stage of design and manufacturing.
But, if the company behind this next-gen electric bike is any indication, the bike could be ready to go in just a few short years.
The new model will be known as the Bicyclist Smart, and it’s being developed by an Austrian company called Citi Bike.
The company’s goal is to develop a bike that can fit in the pocket of anyone, anytime, and to do so, they’ve created a bike with an electric motor that can travel at up to 700 km per hour (427 miles per hour).
That means the bike can be used in almost any city on the globe and at almost any speed.
The bike has an onboard GPS system that helps to keep you on track, and a battery that can last for more than two days without charging.
While this bike may not be the most advanced electric bike on offer today, the company believes it will have a major impact on the way people ride bicycles in the future.
“The future of bikes is the next evolution of the electric motorcycle,” Citi CEO and founder Daniel Kockel told CNBC.
“This is a bicycle that can be a personal trainer, a commuter, and of course, a workhorse, the next big step in the evolution of cycling.”
Citi Bike is developing the new Bicycle Smart in partnership with two companies: Shimano and Mavic.
The Shimano-made Smart is an all-electric bike with a range of up to 7,000 km (4,500 miles).
It’s based on the company’s new SmartRider electric bicycle, and has the same battery as the Smart.
The Mavics are a bit more expensive, with the Smart costing around $2,000 while the Mavicy costs $1,000.
The bikes are being made in China, but Kockels claim that the bikes will be produced in the United States by 2019.
The bike has a battery pack that can run for six months without charging and a fully-loaded battery for six days.
The Smart can also travel at speeds of up a whopping 700 km/h (427 mph), and the company has promised that the Smart will be able to do the same.
“We have been developing the SmartRide, and we have been working with Shimano to make sure that the battery capacity is the same, that the performance is the best possible, and that it has the best handling characteristics,” Kockels statement said.
“The Smart is a very special bike.”
While the bike is being developed in partnership between Citi and two companies, the future of the next iteration of the sportbike looks very bright.
As the electric motor is able to travel up to 2,500 km per day and reach speeds of 700 km, it will be incredibly convenient for anyone who wants to get around on their bike.
That will be great news for anyone on the go, as they will no longer have to worry about charging their batteries when they’re out and about.
